A 4 day meditation and teaching retreat with Lharampa Geshe Jampa Tharchin

The Heart Sutra contains the pith instructions for attaining all the realizations required to achieve the goal of liberation from suffering and eternal happiness. The Heart Sutra is a Perfection of Wisdom text of Mahayana Buddhism and is over 2000 years old.
Lharampa Geshe Jampa Tharchin has completed the Sera Je Lharampa Geshe degree in South India, and has a degree from Gyume Tantric College.
Geshe Tharchin taught at the Kopan Nunnery in Nepal and is now the resident teacher at Chandrakirti Meditation Centre.
Teachings will be translated into English by Ms Voula Zapani.

Retreat begins Fri January 27th and finishes Monday January 30th at 5pm.
The program includes teaching, meditation and discussion sessions throughout the day
Accommodation is available – camping or a room in a nearby holiday house
Cost is $40 per day plus accommodation, please call us for bookings and requirements.
We also provide transport from Nelson City and airport.
