A program designed for children of Tibetan ethnicity allowing them to rediscover their culture and language.
A fun, interactive and supportive environment exploring language, history, stories, games, dharma and much more.
Resident teacher Lharampa Geshe Jampa Tharchin will be teaching most of the classes to the children with support from the staff at Chandrakirti Centre.

Sample Daily Schedule –
7.30 – 8.30am Children gather in Nalanda Hall
8.30 – 10am Breakfast
10am – 12 noon Language classes with Geshe Tharchin, a series of short interactive sessions focusing on Tibetan language and history.
12 – 2pm Lunch
2pm – 6pm Outdoor activities depending on the weather, picnics, swimming, walking
Drawing, animal blessings & music
6pm Evening meal
7pm Stories of Tibet
We welcome children of all ages and of other cultures, and of course parents to join this Summer Camp which is primarily focused on preserving the essence of the Tibetan culture and providing networking opportunities for Tibetans.
We are happy for you to send your children unaccompanied , we have a responsible and knowledgable team of parents and helpers, please call us for details. We provide pick ups from the airport and near by locations.
Cost is $60 per day per family or $360 for the six nights
All teachings and classes are free, cost covers facilities and food.
All vegetarian meals provided by the centre as well as camping accommodation.
Please do bring your own camping equipment if possible.
Holiday House accommodation is also available for an extra charge.
