Vajrasattva Retreat – December 26 - 31
During this retreat we can purify our negative karma by engaging in the practices of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of Purification. The objective in purifying negativities
is ultimately to suffer less and therefore to become happier and happier – our good qualities increase, and mental and physical suffering diminishes. Learn to make this practice the quickest, most effective way to transform your mind.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche explains: The Vajrasattva purification practice, which is more powerful than negative karma, can prevent you from experiencing the problems that negative karma would otherwise bring you. If you don't want relationship problems, business failure, illnesses such as cancer or aids, notoriety, or the criticism of others, the practice of Vajrasattva is extremely important.
This retreat is suitable for all faiths: for beginners and long-time practitioners alike. No special prerequisites, though a basic understanding of karma is helpful. The retreat may be confronting but the setting is peaceful.
Wednesday 26th December 5:30pm – Monday 31st 9am. Facility fee $150
