Lama Zopa Rinpoche giving advice on the first prototypeThe Jade Buddha is underway. The carving factory is currently making the second prototype – following advice received from Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Carving of the boulder known as “Polar Pride” will commence in July and the statue is expected to be complete in December this year.

You can be part of this “once in a millennium” project by becoming a ‘carving benefactor’. We are seeking 108 benefactors to contribute AUD$1080 (approx SIN$1400, USD$911) to cover the costs of the carving. As an acknowledgement of your contribution your name (Maximum 22 characters including spaces) will be carved into the back or the side of the throne of the statue. You may add the words “& family” if space allows.

This is a unique opportunity. Already we have over 25 benefactors and we urge your urgent support to ensure that your name will be recorded on the throne of the Jade Buddha. You may donate online at the Jade Buddha Website.
